AMERICAN MEDIA SERVICES WELCOMES DON LYNCH

February 21, 2006

CHARLESTON, SC – Don Lynch, a 28-year radio veteran, has joined American Media Services as a project engineer in the company's developmental engineering division.

Lynch's career includes more than 20 years of working on station developments and upgrades. He founded Horizon Broadcast Solutions, LLC in 2003, to develop new clients seeking broadcast technical improvements. Prior to that, he was a partner at KWRT-FM (now JACK-FM 93.1) in Columbia, Missouri. Lynch has also been a partner in or managed stations in Texas, Arkansas and mid-Missouri. Under his leadership, Zimmer Radio Group grew from one station to seven and became the dominant radio group in mid-Missouri.

"Don understands clearly that upgrade plans must have sound practical and operational foundations on which creative technical solutions are then built," said Frank McCoy, Executive Vice President of Engineering for AMS. "Like many of us at AMS, Don has paid his dues on the operations side. That duality of backgrounds - both station management and engineering - is invaluable in shepherding upgrades to successful completion."

Lynch has been a contributing developmental engineer for AMS for over a year from his base in Missouri.

"We are pleased to welcome Don under the AMS roof at our headquarters in Charleston," said Ed Seeger, President and CEO of AMS. "His position enhances even further our capabilities to increase the value of stations for our clients."

AMS is a full-scale brokerage, engineering and developmental engineering firm, and its developmental division leads the country in successfully implementing station upgrades by moving them into larger markets, dramatically increasing their value. Since its founding in 1997, AMS has increased the value of 21 stations across the country by $205.1 million, and more than $200 million in proposed rulemakings are currently pending before the FCC. AMS is headquartered in Charleston, with regional offices in Chicago, Dallas and Austin, TX. A new regional office has been opened in Denver.
